Throwback Thursday brings you this stunning historical beauty from Citroen. Created by Henri Chapron, the DS began as an individual project before Citroen finally gave it the official OK. This worked perfectly as enabled them to add the DS Advanced self levelling hydro-pneumatic suspension, creating a mix of handling, performance and looks that wouldn't be matched for quite some time.
The pictured example has only had three owners, has been expertly restored over the last 15 years, including a complete engine overhaul and semi-automotic gear system, a re-trim of the leather interior and an update to the electrics.
